KOPR Live Theta-60 → Theta-85
Mainline history after the Theta-60 documentation baseline. Current user and scientific documentation follows the final Theta-85 contracts; superseded experiments are retained here only as history.
Evidence caveat: Theta-61/62 current Analyzer behavior is covered by current QA, but exact per-release attribution should be verified from the original release reports before treating those two rows as formal historical provenance. Theta-63→85 is supported by the supplied current release/gate corpus.
Release timeline
| Release | Documented change |
|---|---|
| Theta-60 | Starting baseline from the preceding documentation series. |
| Theta-61 | Analyzer target-owned Formulae presentation: target header carries point/line identity; H0/n rows are text-only. Exact release attribution remains to be verified from the original report. |
| Theta-62 | Fresh Analyzer Return defaults become observation-owned while explicit user choices remain authoritative. Exact release attribution remains to be verified from the original report. |
| Theta-63 | WStack FITS-only RAW discovery early-exit and identity-bound stack metadata cache. |
| Theta-64 | Bounded synchronous page-refresh/event pumping for better responsiveness without user-input re-entry. |
| Theta-65 | Immutable Stack operation snapshot and stale-input file-identity fail-closed checks. |
| Theta-66 | Adaptive host-aware Mean/Sum reprojection scheduler, hard cap 8. |
| Theta-67 | Fused Sigma reprojection with adaptive scheduling; clipping mathematics unchanged. |
| Theta-68 | High-resolution RAM safety and Sigma temporary-disk fail-closed gate. |
| Theta-69 | Operation-local scheduler diagnostic consolidation. |
| Theta-70 | Calibration completion-dialog hierarchy/aggregation; Phase-7 whole-flow baseline. |
| Theta-71 | Adaptive RAM-aware Astrometry scheduler. |
| Theta-72 | Stage-delta refresh and immutable metadata-handoff foundation. |
| Theta-73 | Calibration→Astrometry and Astrometry→Stack validated metadata reuse. |
| Theta-74 | Astrometry RAM model recalibrated to 256 MiB reservation/solver; native hard cap 6 retained. |
| Theta-75 | Opt-in Relative-WCS shadow experiment. Shadow-only reference/source-cap details are superseded and are not current production policy. |
| Theta-76 | PreparedMasterCache becomes byte-workset based; production Calibration cap remains 2; 8M Master/RAW optimization remains deferred. |
| Theta-77 | Night diagram may reuse compatible fresh Planner ephemeris membership. |
| Theta-78 | Night diagram low-resolution computation uses canonical legacy Stage-A two-body kernel; ephemeris/maps retain N-body routes. |
| Theta-79 | Canonical UTC-aware evening→next-morning night window with fractional GMT offsets. |
| Theta-80 | Night-diagram rendering/failure safety: NaN gaps, bounded ticks and per-comet failure isolation. |
| Theta-81 | Planner overview star depth increased to 8.0 mag with server-side VizieR VTmag filtering. |
| Theta-82 | Balanced/minimum-sheet temporal partition replaces greedy segmentation. |
| Theta-83 | Coherent geometry-aware map label placement, endpoint-only text fallback for dense tracks, and Planner D3C/MAP-RQ closure. |
| Theta-84 | Finding-chart PDF save remembers the last valid directory for the current Planner session. |
| Theta-85 | Production Relative-WCS hybrid cutover with AXY fast path, whole-group full-image fallback and frozen safety thresholds. |
Current contracts after Theta-85
- WStack Mean/Sum, Sigma and Astrometry use automatic workload/host-aware planning; Calibration intentionally remains capped at 2 workers.
- Relative-WCS is a hybrid AXY fast path with whole-group full-image fallback; AXY is transient operation data.
- Night diagram is a low-resolution two-body planning product; Generate ephemeris/maps retain N-body routes.
- Planner overview star depth is 8.0 mag; sheet partitioning is balanced; date-label policy is geometry-aware.
- Analyzer Formulae identity is target-owned and fresh Return defaults are observation-owned.
- 8M Master/RAW optimization remains deferred and WStack native GUI remains environment HOLD on the Theta-85 build host.
